The Irving FAC works in concert with and alongside various organizations and agencies dedicated to serving our community, including:
A nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the lives of abused children in Dallas County. DCAC coordinates the investigation and prosecution of the most severe cases of child abuse in our community. DCAC serves more than 4,000 children (and their non-offending family members) annually who were sexually abused, severely physically abused or who had witnessed a violent crime.
The Irving FAC facility hosts two units of Dallas County Child Protective Services. With client authorization, FAC Counseling Services and Victim Services can work closely with the clients to resolve issues with Child Protective Services. Our goal is to improve family functioning and to preserve the family unit.
A nonprofit domestic violence agency serving Dallas County and neighboring areas. Brighter Tomorrows provides services free of charge to individuals regardless of age, race, ethnic origin, income, sex or city of origin such as 24-hour crisis hotline, counseling for adults and children, safe emergency shelter and transitional housing.
