Crime-Free Multihousing Ordinance Program

The Irving Crime Free Multi-Housing (CFMH) Ordinance Program is written in Chapter 8 of the City of Irving Code of Civil and Criminal Ordinances. City Council passed the ordinance on November 6, 2008.

The Irving CFMH Ordinance Program states any multifamily property that receives a Code Enforcement risk rating of "3" or "4" from a property assessment will be required to participate in the program.

  • The owner and manager will be required to complete training and testing for their mandatory participation.
  • The owner and manager will receive a certificate once they have completed the training course and taken the online test.
