When is my payment credited to my account?
Credit / Debit card payments made by 7 p.m. (CST/CDT) will be credited to a customer's account on the next business day. Payments made after 7 p.m. (CST/CDT) will be credited on the customer's account within two business days.
Electronic Check transactions are posted within two business days as outlined through the National Automated Clearing House Association (NACHA).

Is there a City of Irving convenience fee?
There is no convenience fee to make a payment.

What type of payments are accepted at the City of Irving payment website?
Customers can pay online using a VISA, Mastercard, or Discover credit / debit card. Electronic checks also are accepted. Customers can make monthly recurring payments from any of these options.

Can I just make my payment without establishing a username / password?
Yes. Instead of selecting the “Login” section of the website, customers simply select the “Pay Now” portion. The account number, as well as the numeric portion of the address associated with the account are required for this option. When prompted for a PIN, enter the address number.

How will my transaction be confirmed?
When using a credit or debit card, customers will receive an on-screen confirmation number and an email receipt.

When is my payment credited to my account?
Credit / Debit card payments made by 7 p.m. (CST/CDT) will be credited to a customer's account on the next business day. Payments made after 7 p.m. (CST/CDT) will be credited on the customer's account within two business days.

Can I view my Municipal Services statement online?
Customers will need to register through the online portal and establish a login and password to view, print and review statements.

Is there a minimum / maximum amount that can be charged to my credit card?
Yes, the minimum amount per transaction is $0.01 and the maximum amount per transaction is $25,000.
However, a customer's personal financial institution may have preset daily limits based on individual spending patterns. When making a large or unusual payment by credit card, it may be best to call and advise the personal financial institution before completing the transaction.

How do I know my information is secure?
Paymentus, the City of Irving online utility payment processor, maintains strict controls throughout its infrastructure, application, people and processes that provides a secure and safe environment for processing payments. All data is protected with SSL (Secure Socket Layer) encryption, and Paymentus follows all security measures required through PCI-DSS Compliance (Level 1).
9.
How will the payment be displayed on my card / bank statement?
A customer's bank statement will show payment to the City of Irving.
10.
I don’t own a computer. Can I pay online?
Customers can make an online payment using any computer with access to the internet. Visit
cityofirving.org/paywaterbill
to make a Municipal Service payment online using your credit / debit card or banking account information. A valid email address is required to complete the transaction.
